Mandy is a certified ATS® belly dance instructor and a Sister Studio of FatChanceBellyDance®. Mandy has been performing all her life, but Mandy been studying and performing fusion belly dance since 2006. She began her belly dance journey with Samantha Riggs of Domba Tribal learning to love the art of improvisation. Then she discovered ATS® with Heather Coleman. Mandy enthusiastically studied ATS® for many years with Lenay Dunn and Jorden Kolding eventually becoming a member of first Padmakali Tribal and their professional troupe, Kamalah Tribal. She also helped found the LookingGlass Collective with the glitterific Becka Bomb an experimental highly theatrical performance collective.

Leaving Arizona behind, Mandy moved to California where she co-taught and co-directed Brazen Tassel Tribal with Bridgett Ritchie for several years as well as founding BlueStocking Tribal with Sylvana Celeste. Eventurally branching out on her own to offer classes in her local community (Merced CA). She also discovered her voice as a soloist dramatically growing her repertoire as a tribal fusion performer.

 

Mandy is known for her dedication to technique, joyful energy, innovative staging, and musicality. She loves adding props to her dance, especially swords. She is honored to have studied and worked with dancers outside of the ATS® community and loves the opportunity for collaborations and sharing ideas, technique, and inspiration.
